Earthcaching

View along the Sea to Ski Highway
Yesterday, we headed up to Canada to do both some geocaching and earth caching.  An earthcache doesn't have a physical cache rather the developer wanted to bring you to a unique geoscience location.  Usually it has the cacher answering some questions about the location.  Both Earthcaches we found yesterday were along the Sea to Ski Highway in British Columbia, Canada.

It was incredibly foggy all day during our Canadian Adventure.  Our First earthcache was called Flutes and was a glacial flute which is a land form created by the dragging of a boulder at the base of a glacier and polishing the bedrock.

The second earthcache was called Stawamus Chief or referred to just as "The Chief". The Chief is a enormous granite wall. It is the second largest granite monolith in the world.

Of course NO TRIP TO CANADA would be complete without a trip to Tim Horton's for Tim Bits.

I just had to take a picture of this store across from Tim Horton's.  It is funny.
